I hope this email finds your summer starting well.  The political season never stops, so here are a few events I encourage you to take advantage of…

 

1)       Health Care Open House (Party) - Bring your health care stories, your ideas, your passion and commitment as we search for real solutions to the most serious challenges facing Americans in the 21st Century.  Saturday, June 6 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.  Chris Henry Home, 9323 Clearhurst Dr., Dallas, TX 75238.  Call for details at 214 457 7675.

2)       Join the Lake Highlands/White Rock Democratic Club at their annual summer picnic at White Rock Lake.  Hot dogs and fixings… 6/20/2009 11:00 AM at “The Stone Tables at White Rock.”  600 E. Lawther Drive (near Lake Highlands Drive at Buckner Blvd.), Dallas, Texas.  First time guests are FREE!  Representatives Allen Vaught, Carol Kent and Terri Hodge will give us a legislative update on what did and didn't happen in Austin this past legislative session…
